One of the disadvantages of being a dog parent is having to leave your pet at home when you leave for work. It is a good thing that companies are becoming increasingly accepting of their employees bringing their dogs to work, much to the delight of tons of pets and dog owners.
This means that dogs will no longer need to feel lonely, since they will no longer be left at home. Having an icebreaker in the office will also be advantageous for dog owners and for their colleagues as well. It has been scientifically proven in the past that having a dog at the office can reduce stress levels.
However, having our dogs around while we work can be quite distracting. But, we do not believe that all diversions are negative. Some of them may be as adorable and fluffy – like Storm the Weather Dog. This lovely dog belongs to Anthony Farnell, a meteorologist working for Global Toronto.
Since the onset of the pandemic lockdowns, several reporters have struggled having their canine companions around while they were reporting live for television from their homes. In the case of Farnell, though, his dog chose to make a cameo appearance while he reported about the weather live to Ontario residents.
It is extremely remarkable that this weatherman was able to suppress his laughter. He even made witty remarks regarding Storm’s appearance while he was doing the report. To be fair, though, the dog did not disturb his dog dad and did not even make a sound. Storm merely wanted to have some dog treats because he was already hungry.
We must admit that Farnell did an excellent job at multitasking. He chose to continue doing the weather report while tossing some treats to his pet. We’re unsure whether the viewers were able to understand Farnell’s report, since we’re confident they were captivated by the adorable doggo!
