America’s Got Talent has seen all sorts of auditionees. These include dogs, playing all kinds of tricks. But throughout AGT’s run as a reality talent competition, one dog has made such a lasting impression on the show’s judges and audiences worldwide.
The dog we refer to goes by the name Falco. He is a 9-year-old border collie. His trainer and best friend goes by the name Lukas.
Lukas is 22 years of age. He was still a kid when he first met Falco, their family dog. Lukas used to be afraid of dogs, which changed upon his meeting Falco.
Falco looked into Lukas’s eyes, and the dog won over the reluctant dog lover. Since then, they have become inseparable.
The duo calls their AGT act canine freestyle. Watch this video to see how it goes.
Lukas and Falco’s act starts with the former putting a hat on the latter’s head. It was a red herring, though. Lukas took the hat back to wear it himself.
Their background music starts, and the duo dances a sort of non-dance. Basically, we see Falco either responding to or imitating Lukas’s movements. It’s a charming performance, to say the least.
In the end, the duo’s act received four yesses from the AGT judges. It’s important to note that there are ardent dog lovers on that table, including Simon Cowell himself. But that’s not the reason why Lukas and Falco had a successful audition.
The duo obviously had something to show off for the AGT audience. Their act can easily be regarded as the best canine performance in the Got Talent worldwide franchise.
Lukas and Falco trained every day in preparation for their AGT audition. Based on the result of their AGT journey, we can say that all of their hard work paid off.
