Did you know that August 26 is International Dog Day? We may be going through a pandemic but let it not stop us from celebrating our beloved buddies.
August 26 is fast approaching! Please don’t let the day pass by without doing a thing to celebrate your dog and all the dogs in the world who have given humans so much joy and pure unconditional love!
To make it easier for you, we’re going to give you five sweet activities that you can do in the very comfort of your home to celebrate the coolest day ever!
1. Look for shelters and organizations that are in need! You can opt to donate toys, blankets, vitamins, and food. Every shelter need can be different so it’s better if you would ask the shelters themselves for their very needs. If you don’t have the time, donating dog food is always a good choice. You can also donate in cash.
2. Now more than ever is the perfect time to adopt a dog. Having a dog will bring you so much joy and love! If you’ve been wanting to adopt one, now is the time to go for it!
3. Dedicate your day to dog-proofing! Spend the entire day looking for spots and areas in your house that can be dangerous and harmful to your dog. Nothing is better than making sure that your dog is always safe and happy!
4. Spoil your baby! Consider making a DIY toy or giving your baby extra snacks today! You know your baby deserves it!
5. Give your baby a dog massage! You’re not the only one who has been angsty and clueless. Your dog has also been very confused and perplexed with the effects of the pandemic. If you have yet to try it, now is the time to give it a go. There are plenty of video tutorials on video that can show you how easy it is to give your dog a soothing and relaxing massage. Go for it! Your dog deserves it!
