These three words are the best way to call our dogs — innocent, loving, and loyal. They goof around most of the time, begging for attention, as all they ever have is us, and they will never let anything harm us.
Shane, a nine-year-old living in Lincoln, Nebraska, was alone in their house when he heard someone trying to unlock the door. At first, he thought it was her mother, who was back from picking up his siblings. Soon, he learned it was not her mother but an unknown man with bad intentions.
A man sporting a mask entered their home. The motives were unknown as it did not show any evidence. It only looked him in the eyes and began chasing Shane upstairs.
Young and scared, Shane’s only hope was their furry family member, Baby Girl. Desperate, he called out the pit bull, which immediately responded. Baby Girl did not waste time and got down to the business, protecting her family.
Baby Girl attacked the unknown assailant who was chasing the boy, and she bit his legs in an attempt to subdue him. Shane figured that the masked robber must be after him.
The moment he saw him, he began to stroll towards him and did not bother to look at anything else. The man fled the house after experiencing Baby Girls’ assault and determination to protect the young boy from him.
After the man left the house, Shane immediately ran to their neighbor’s house and contacted his mom. He’s grateful that Baby Girl did not hesitate to save him and rewarded him with a lollipop. Shane said he felt scared but was thankful for Baby Girl’s action and that she’s the most excellent protector he could ever ask for.
