Many people are allergic to dogs. Although the reactions are usually mild, they’re still uncomfortable enough that they can prevent the person suffering from them from enjoying life. However, some people develop severe allergic reactions to dogs.
A girl named Violet had been asking for a dog ever since she was little. Unfortunately, she’s allergic to dog fur. Her allergic reactions were so bad that touching a dog or even getting too near to one can trigger an anaphylactic reaction.
Violet’s dad always gets heartbroken whenever he has to say no to her daughter whenever she asks for a dog. However, everything changed when he learned that certain dog breeds are hypoallergenic. So, just like any dad would do, he sets off to find the perfect dog for her daughter.
Although the easiest way to get one of these dogs is from a breeder, Violet’s family is a staunch advocate for rescue dogs. Purebred dogs are hard to find in rescue shelters but Violet’s dad was determined to adopt one that needs a forever home. Thankfully, after weeks of searching and countless phone calls, Violet’s dad finally got his call returned from an animal shelter.
An animal rescue organization happened to rescue an adorable Maltese who was found wandering the streets in West Texas. Violet’s dad was so excited by the news that he couldn’t wait to tell his daughters, especially Violet.
Violet and her sister got to meet their new dog for the first time on a video call. The girls instantly fell in love with Violet and decided to name her Chloe. As soon as the call ended, they headed out to shop for everything that Chloe needed to be comfortable in her new home.
After a few more days, the day finally came for Violet’s dad to pick up Chloe and take her home. Chloe was very excited and started to explore her new home. When she finally met Violet and her sister, she got very excited to meet her human sisters and started jumping around.
