The world is in good hands for the future is bright with it’s young inhabitants. One solid proof is this kind boy who uses his talent in painting to help shelters in caring for stray dogs.
Meet Pavel Abramov, a nine-year-old Russian boy who’s changing the world by filling it with more love and kindness one painting at a time.
Pavel started his project a year ago when he lost his beloved fur buddy. Wanting a new fur companion, his parent suggested for him to adopt one instead. This suggestion introduced him to the harsh reality of situations in shelters.
His young mind couldn’t process how stray dogs are forsaken and not cared for. So much so that he couldn’t stop thinking about it and decided to do something about it. This is when his loving work started.
Pavel named his project ‘Kind Paintbrush’. Fully supported by his parents and aware of his talent in painting, Pavel started to paint cats and dogs for a price. He would paint portraits of pets and ask owners to just pay him through dog foods and donations for other needs of animal shelters that he helps.
Indeed, no act is too small when it comes to spreading love and kindness. To this day, Pavel accepts requests for paintings of self-portraits of pets with the kind condition of just asking owners to pay him through helping animal shelters in his area. His mom shares how Pavel’s schedule is highly customized as he wants to do as many art works as he can to help animal shelters.
His website shares how Pavel wants to be an example to everyone that even a small kid can be of help and give aid to those in need. What a kind boy with a golden and pure heart! Indeed, there is hope for the future!
