As each workday ends, all we want is to be left alone and have all the time for ourselves, believing that we deserve unadulterated rest. But some want to enjoy a hearty meal while having wholesome conversations with their families.
One Basset Hound certainly thinks that way. Murphy, the dog in question, has this human-like habit of carrying his food to the couch and enjoy his rest.
Murphy’s unique dining style
Just like other regular dogs, Murphy will just have to wait for his family to fill his bowl with food. But he has somehow developed this realization that there’s more to life than eating in the kitchen.
Initially, he just looks at the way his owners eat their meals. The family usually dines on the living room, couch as they tune in to the TV.
Murphy just knows that he’s also a family member, so he decides to eat in the living room, too. One day, he picks up his bowl and jumps on the couch to join his family.
Surprisingly, his family does not stop him. They just look at the pup eating his kibble without dropping a single piece. At that moment, he knows he has found his spot.
He’s just a spoiled pup!
Murphy has found a new way to enjoy his food, and it seems that he won’t be going back to his old ways. To establish the set-up will be permanent, he repeats his actions over the following days.
Most of the time, the dog carries his food to the couch flawlessly. But there are some occasions when he spills portions of his dinner. Because of this, mom puts Murphy’s bowl on the couch, so the dog will just get up on the seat to eat.
Murphy may look spoiled, but you can’t deny that his family just loves him so much!
