Dogs’ loyalty is unmountable. When you show them love and care, they give back by being trusty and reliable.
Chula, the cute little dog, is one of them. But there’s a catch; she dislikes men.
According to Sherri, her mom, Chula’s name came from the Spanish term “cute girl.” Contrary to its meaning, her mom thought that she was uglier than a mud fence, so to balance the bar, she came up with “Chula” to at least have a “cute” in her name. Way to name a dog!
One time, a burglar tried to break into their house, and Chula immediately targeted the man. She tried jumping on the window to scare him off, and thankfully, it was a success. But little do we know; this is the start of her despising all men.
Every time her mom had a date, it was a challenge to please Chula. One time, a man arrives at their house and opens the door. Without second thoughts, she locked her target and prepared to attack the man.
But everything changed because of one man.
After moving to California, Sherri went on a blind date with a man named Andy. One day, Andy went to surprise Sherri at her home. Without knowing, she opened the door with Chula at the side. Well, you know what to expect!
Chula was in a rage. She had her back straighten up with her shrieking teeth showing off. But to Sherri’s surprise, Andy bent down and spoke to the fuming Chula and said, “Well, hello, Chula. How’s my little cute dog?”
Right then and there, what once was a man-hater catches herself smothering a man with kisses! After that incident, Chula loved Andy like how she loved her mom. Sherri knew that at that moment, she already found her soulmate.
