Dogs love food as much if not more then we do. They also have the tendency to eat whatever they find, even if it is not meant for them. This is exactly what Bull and Bear Jordan did to get them in trouble.
Bull and Bear Jordan are Mastiff-Labradors who were bold enough to steal the lunch of a mail carrier. Bull and Bear are not natural born thieves. They are really very sweet. They would typically greet visitors to their mom’s house with a playful nudge and acknowledgement. There owner Carol and her two adorable dogs reside in Smithfield, Virginia. The dogs treat all visitors as if they are old friends and never show aggression. Bull and Bear have taken their greetings to a new level.
Carol recently received a letter from her mail carrier that went like this:
“Hey, I drove up to deliver a package and both of the dogs crawled in my truck. They got into my lunch and ate an egg and some carrots and some pumpkin seeds. I don’t know if that will upset their tummies! Just FYI!”
The letter was kind of shocking to Carol and she felt badly for her mail carrier. Carol acted quickly and composed an apology letter addressed from her dogs to the mail carrier along with a Subway Gift Card. The letter from Bear and Bull via Carol stated:
“Sorry, we ate your lunch. Thank you for sharing! P.S. Our humans said thank you for leaving a note. We didn’t like the note. We got in trouble.”
Carol did admit that this was not the first time her dogs jumped into the van of a delivery man. Bull and Bear previously had ventured into the van of a FedEx driver as he was delivering packages to their home. To be more specific, one of the dogs sat on the driver’s seat, while the other was on the passenger seat. It seems like the happy dogs were ready to make a delivery.
Perhaps, dogs aren’t just man’s best friend? Dogs are also a great source of joy and delight as well. Dogs continuously do little things that make us smile. This does not condone stealing from your mail carrier, but it does mean we should be patient and understanding with our dogs. In most cases dogs are just curious and want to be around humans. Just another story to make us all Love Dogs.
