Since there is a negative portrayal of the relationship between a dog and a cat on television, people thought that these two could not be good friends. But just like any other animals that have many differences, dogs and cats can form incredible bonds, too. The relationship between this cat named Gilbert and his dog friend Lucy is a living testament to this.
Adam Kopley owned the two cute pets, and the man said that the relationship between the two friends is way beyond what is represented on the television. Adam mentioned that Gilbert and Lucy had become siblings, even if they differ in so many ways. The pet owner added that the two animals had built a good rapport with each other ever since they met.
As the coronavirus lockdown got in place, Adam said that his two pets have become inseparable. Adam shared that it was Gilbert who became their first pet. The owner confided that he did not have any plans to adopt another pet because he is so busy with work. But when Adam met Lucy the pooch, there was a pull from gravity that Adam should take the pooch. So, Adam did, and he immediately introduced the dog to Gilbert.
According to Adam, the two pets developed an instant connection during their first meeting. From this standpoint, Adam declared that he would not have a problem having two pets. However, it was the complete opposite.
Although Gilbert and Lucy are true brothers and sisters, the cat and dog could sometimes go rowdy. But even then, Adam sure understands the two. He said that all siblings undergo the same phase as what Gilbert and Lucy are facing. There will be friendly banters, but at the end of the day, they will remain as siblings, Adam said.
