Puppy’s First Taste Of Peanut Butter Doesn’t Go As Expected

Puppy’s First Taste Of Peanut Butter Doesn’t Go As Expected

Everybody loves peanut butter, even dogs. Any dog will happily indulge itself with peanut butter when its owner allows them to. Not to mention, it is entertaining to watch them lap up the creamy delight off the spoon with their tongue.

But do all dogs really love that brownish, sweet, creamy treat? Well, for one Yellow Labrador puppy, the answer is clearly NO. Yikes!

How can a dog resist such a tasty snack? Charlie, the adorable pup in this featured video, is about to have his very first taste of peanut butter. Charlie’s owner wanted him to try what all other dogs couldn’t resist. But as it turns out, Charlie had other plans.

The video starts with Charlie sitting on the floor as his owner offers him a spoon smudged in the delectable snack. Charlie begins to sniff the spoon several times. Eventually, Charlie gives the spoon a bit of a lick, and surprisingly, he didn’t like it!

Charlie started to back away from the spoon as he took his very first taste of the p and b. It is clear from the way Charlie reacted after his first taste, that he didn’t want it.

It’s the first time we’ve seen a dog reject such a tasty treat! While Charlie’s owner insists that he take a few more licks from the spoon, Charlie wasn’t having any of it.

In fact, Charlie started to enter play mode instead of snack mode. Charlie takes on a prowling position and barks at the spoon that his owner is so insistent on offering him.

Charlie’s owner tries one more time. The puppy takes another sniff at the peanut butter and bawls his head as if offended by its smell. But the more Charlie resisted the creamy snack, the more his owner insisted he eats it.

Watch the adorable pup in the video below try his best to avoid the delicious spoon smudged in peanut butter.
