Dogs can be very reliable companions for people with disabilities. They can help with tasks that their owners have difficulty with, such as fetching objects from places they are unable to go to.
A dog named Jindol is a great example of such a dog since he often runs errands for his owner, who is unable to walk.
Jindol can often be seen going to a local supermarket with a basket around his neck. The vendors place items in the basket, and the dog delivers them to his owners. It’s a daily task that proves invaluable for his owner.
Jindol’s owner is paralyzed from the waist down, which means there are activities that are impossible for him to do. Before meeting Jindol, the owner’s mother would help him with daily activities. However, when his mother passed away, he no longer had someone to help him with said task until he adopted Jindol.
The owner treats Jindol similarly to a child he never had. The dog is always with him wherever he goes, even in moments when Jindol is not needed. For example, whenever the owner is playing board games with his neighbors, the dog enters the room to be with him.
During one special occasion, the owner went to visit his mother’s grave. Several good samaritans helped him travel to the location since it was located on a hill that was hard to traverse. Of course, the owner brought Jindol with him.
The owner remembered that his mother would have wanted him to have a child. Even though he could not fulfill that wish, he believed that Jindol was just as good as a child. The man often wonders if his mother would be happy seeing him now.
Before leaving the gravesite, the man proclaimed that he would stay by his dog’s side until the end. He knows that Jindol will likely pass away before him, and he is ready for that day. Yet he would rather not think about that and focus on the present.
